How To Make Milanesa Napolitana

Step 1:

We begin the preparation of our Neapolitan style milanesa, for this, in a pot over medium heat, add oil and let it heat, then add the onion and 1 clove of garlic and cook for a couple of minutes.

Step 2:

Then add the tomato, salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 3:

In a bowl add the beaten egg, salt, the other clove of garlic, pepper and oregano and mix.

Step 4:

We take a sirloin steak, salt and pepper and pass it through the egg mixture and then breadcrumbs.

Step 5:

In a frying pan with oil at medium high temperature, we will fry our milanesas for about 6 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6:

On a flat surface we place our milanesa and put on top the tomato sauce, ham and cheese and take to the oven with a temperature of 200 ºC / 392 °F for 10 minutes (or until gratin).

Step 7:

After the time in the oven, remove and we have our delicious Neapolitan milanesa ready.
